Whenever I am surrounded with doubt or despair I have a “Is it me?” moment. All of the cliches’ enter my mind about failure and giving up. Is it me, or do some people just have it easier? Is it me, or did others take a class in school that I skipped? Then I realize it is me.
It is me that was blessed with a loving family and two beautiful children. It is me that chooses on a daily basis to take advantage of opportunities for my children and miss out on opportunities for myself. No one is to blame and no one is at fault. Regardless of where I live, how much money I have or whatever materialistic things I posses nothing is of greater value than my children’s future.
